In addition to providing resources, Sal is deeply committed to ending and reducing Veteran suicide through reintegration reform and community education. His work has taken him coast to coast, speaking with leaders and the public about how to recognize the signs of crisis and intervene safely and effectively. His dedication has even led him to the Pennsylvania State Capitol and Senate hearings, where he has testified on the urgent need for systemic change.
